NEW TO 2025: We’re thrilled to bring the FreshGrass Awards Band category to the 2025 FreshGrass | Bentonville at the Momentary! 5 finalists will perform in front of an esteemed panel of judges during the festival for cash prizes and a trip to Nashville to record at Compass Records. The FreshGrass Awards celebrate and reward emerging artists who offer innovative interpretations of bluegrass and roots music traditions and take place each year at the FreshGrass Festival in North Adams, MA and Bentonville, AR. With multiple categories and prizes totaling more than $30,000 cash each year — plus studio time at Compass Records for the Band winner — we’re proud that our awards are the most ambitious of their kind.
Please Note: For Bentonville 2025, there will not be a public submission process. Band finalists will be selected internally from our esteemed Awards council.
