FreshGrass Festivals, produced by the nonprofit FreshGrass Foundation, feature a diverse lineup encompassing the best in grassroots music — from traditional masters and iconic trailblazers to musical discoveries.

Studio 9

Studio 9 is an intimate music venue and state of the art recording studio located in North Adams, MA. The unique building was designed and built from the ground up with music and sustainability in mind. It is 100% carbon neutral and is equipped with Meyer Sound’s state-of-the-art Constellation System. Studio 9 is situated on the Porches Inn campus and provides an unparalleled setting and vibe for live shows and professional recording. Opening 2021 – stay tuned.

MASS MoCA

MASS MoCA is home to our FreshGrass | North Adams festival and is one of the world’s liveliest centers for making and enjoying today’s most evocative art. With vast galleries and a stunning collection of indoor and outdoor performing arts venues, MASS MoCA is able to embrace all forms of art: music, sculpture, dance, film, painting, photography, theater, and new, boundary-crossing works of art that defy easy classification.

The Momentary

The Momentary, a satellite to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, is home to our FreshGrass | Bentonville festival and is a contemporary art space in downtown Bentonville for visual, performing, and culinary arts. Occupying a decommissioned 63,000-square-foot cheese factory, the Momentary serves as a gathering place to relax, work, eat and drink, and discover today’s art through programs, exhibitions, festivals, and more.
